This is a continuation of my position at Synopsys after our business unit split out into Black Duck, an AppSec software company. I lead Developer Services and am responsible for the migration of developer resources to the cloud while continuing to support and extend tools and infrastructure required to for product development to deliver great products that make our customers great developers. I lead a team of software engineers and sysadmins who maintain our build and test computer farms, stepping in as a direct contributor whenever needed.

Software Engineering role. Designed, wrote, and deployed internal end-to-end test automation framework for Coverity products in Perl and Ruby. Built and managed test cluster using Beanstalkd for job queue. Designed, wrote, and deployed web-based test history database and reporting system in Ruby on Rails. Wrote BitKeeper to Git conversion tool.

Deployed internal engineering Wikis and worked toward standardization of an internal build system. Unit test advocate. Acted as answer guy on many software engineering subjects.

- Programmed in support of System Generator FPGA design tool, including development of the external user API, integration with various third party tools, and an NSIS based installer.- Release engineering: Builds, uniform environment, and internal tool automation.

Design and program in support of Railway and Tunnel Control Center software.

Developed tools and daemons to manage a globally distributed hierarchical streaming network.

Developed NovaWorld game web site, internal bug report system, mailing list manager, and internal tools for projects.

Programmed in support of contracts for customers including NASA and the USAF.

Co-developed the Bradley Student Records System, working with the computing and registrar staff on design and implementation.
