Currently a senior at Iowa State University, studying Apparel Merchandising (AMD). Expected graduation - December 20th. I have been employed by Moorman Clothiers as a full-time salesperson since November 22, 2019. My Career experience and skills have grown and evolved since my teenage years as I developed a strong adoration for clothing. I've always had a love for creative & collaborative projects, hence clothing and filmography have acted as major creative outlets over my years studying at Iowa State University. Out of High School I enrolled at Iowa State University, quickly changing majors from History to Apparel Merchandising. I began working part-time my sophomore year as a stylist at J. Crew in the Jordan Creek Town-center (Des Moines, IA). Over the next two years I continued to hone my skills as a stylist, repeatedly holding high sales numbers. In Summer 2019, I took a position at Moorman Clothiers (Ames), working as a part-time intern. This working relationship developed quickly and strongly as I was offered a full-time sales Position in November 2019 - a position I've been very happy in since! The service experience I've accumulated over the years has been incredibly impactful on my work. My primary skills include: Sales, Inventory Management (Buying, Packaging, Receiving, Ordering), Cashier, Excel, Photoshop, Garment Management (textile care, Mens & Womens sizing, hemming, marking a garment for alterations, measuring for size as well as custom suiting, etc.), and due to my years as a stylist and salesperson I've developed a strong understanding of both person and individual taste, with this comes patience for all customers.
