• Manage Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, NextDoor and LinkedIn social media accounts. • Regularly gather and cultivate content to promote and highlight infrastructure projects, economic development and special events via the city website, social media and various other digital platforms.• Help to inform residents via social media and other digital channels, about various city-sponsored initiatives and campaigns to promote a better quality of life and/or in moments of crisis.• Manage media requests by providing requested information and/or serving as a liaison between the media and respective departmental representative.• Produce video, photographs and infographics for use on social media and other digital platforms.• Contribute to City Spectrum, a monthly print publication.• Foster professional relationships with elected officials, executive staff and department directors to facilitate the communication of city projects, initiatives and events.• Work closely with social media professionals in various departments to help create and manage their respective social media strategies.• In 2020 redesigned Spectrum Digital, a weekly electronic newsletter. The newsletter is received by more than 8,000 subscribers. I am responsible for curating and writing stories, photos and developing graphics. Content includes special event updates, infrastructure projects and economic developments news.• Daily social media reports to monitor local and regional conversations about or pertaining to the city.• Monthly Social Media Analytics Report presented to executive staff and elected officials, highlighting growth and trends.

Handle internal and external communications concerning any operational disruptions with the transit system. DART serves 12 cities in North Texas, and moves 220,000 passengers per day.Engage with customers via social media. Answering questions and directing their concerns to the proper departments/personnel.Regularly contribute to the online newsletter "DART Daily". As a contributing writer I look for unique events, restaurants and general "happenings" around North Texas accessible with DART's services.
