Assist in creating and managing promotional schedule, theme nights, in game promotions and game-day experience; Assist with marketing/advertising (ie. scheduling digital assets, online ads); Write game day scripts while managing sponsor inventory and creatively developing fresh promotions; Manage game day promotional team, fun zone, 50/50, mascots, ushers, & ticket takers; Oversee community initiatives to increase ticket revenue including Reading Club, Camps, Fundraisers and other community events; Coordinate, schedule and follow through with all community appearances with mascot, players and staff; Plan and oversee social media campaigns with team Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube; Assist with media relations responsibilities, press releases, interview requests, game day roster, and act as liaison with team; Assist with creating graphics for website, social media and general marketing material using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop; Assist with aspects of the website including updates, graphics, newsletters, and more; Interview, hire and coordinate all interns, street team and game day employees; Work, develop and promote non-baseball events (wrestling, movie nights, high school games, etc.); Ordering giveaway items within budget; Merchandise sales, purchasing, inventory, fulfillment, marketing plan; Assist with sales of theme nights, packages, sponsorship.

Report Directly to Promotions Manager for everyday responsibilities and community appearances & programs; Work directly with Game Presentation Coordinator for all in-game performances; Perform as mascot at all Mahoning Valley Scrappers home games (40 regular season, plus playoffs); Add entertainment to the game presentation experience (develop, create, and execute new performance skits); Spontaneous crowd interaction during games and at events; Coordinate mascot appearance schedule and work with Promotions Manager to support grassroots marketing initiatives; Perform as mascot throughout the year at multiple Scrappers events, sponsor, and community events/programs, public relation, marketing, as well as other “appearances” and “community events” as deemed important to the organization; Responsible for maintaining costume, wardrobe, props, etc. while managing allocated budget; Maintain and grow mascot social channels and execute content regularly; Perform other duties, as assigned.

Was a fill in at the end of the season when the staff was short due to students returning back to school.
