As a graduate of the Bachelor's Health Science program from Moravian University, I am looking to help people in a very tangible way through a job in the healthcare industry.Having worked for six years as a Taekwondo Instructor, I bring the perspective of a teacher, as well as someone who has experience working with children and adults. My job experience has given me the opportunity to grow in my love of helping people have healthier, happier lives. It has also given me the space to develop skills such as communicating clearly with people of various ages, developing programs for fitness, and teamwork with coworkers.In earning my degree, I had the chance to learn skills involved in healthcare work, but equally, I built a framework of related knowledge, such as psychology and health behavior. I hope to put my unique perspective to the test in the field of healthcare soon.
