Worked directly with the CTO to continue building Mozi’s event management website with React/Next.Accomplishments:• Implemented a real-time messenger and notification system using Web Sockets and MongoDB Change Streams. In addition to Web Socket implementation, I developed the messenger client on the front-end, allowing users to easily send messages to different groups of people.• Implemented an agenda feature allowing users to add, view, delete and edit agenda items for specific events. I wrote efficient queries to access event and agenda information from PostgreSQL and maintain an effective user interface which made these actions possible.• Redeveloped the desktop-only web app to a responsive site, enhancing usability across mobile, tablet, laptop, and desktop devices.

Conduct weekly one-on-one sessions with students where I explain computer science topics and help them solve homework problems. Using verbal, written, and visual explanations, I ensure students understand course concepts before moving on to homework problems. I gauge a student's needs and current understanding in order to determine the best way to assist them.

Shadowed a sprint team of Full Stack Web Developers in the Banking Organization while communicating with cross functional partners.Accomplishments:• Implemented a survey modal using the MVC pattern in Ember to create new templates and controllers. The modal appears for a specific audience after a delay and emits a CDP event with the given response.• Teamed up with other interns during a hack week to build an internal tool allowing employees to parse databases ad-hoc. I led the front end development by using React to implement a chat box which allows users to easily ask questions and view responses in written, table, and graph formats.• Contributed to four repositories where I reduced tech debt, worked with other teams’ code, and wrote tests.• Led a sprint by running standup each day and sprint retrospective at the end of the period.• Consistently communicated with our team’s designer to ensure changes matched the planned design and user experience.

I helped supervise a group of around forty kids a day who were 5-10 years old and led a small group where I catered to the individual needs of around 15 kids. I maintained composure in a chaotic high stakes environment while balancing multiple tasks at the same time.

I was in charge of completing orders accurately and managing the cash register in a fast paced environment. Additionally, I was responsible for customer experience as they made orders and moved throughout the store.
