About Isabel Losantos

I'm a mechanical engineer by background with experience in medical devices, combination products, multidisciplinary medical technology products, medical software/AI applications, and design controls.I have an excellent understanding of Medical Device regulations for the EU and US, and associated procedural standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA’s 21 CFR 820.30) and their application by means of design development processes obtained through a variety of multidisciplinary projects.I enjoy talking to potential and existing clients about project scope tuning, proposal drafting and negotiating, planning and costing projects, and, following acceptance of a project by a client, managing the project, not just client expectations and deliverables but also the project team.My work has also allowed me mentor others, something I find very fulfilling, and to prepare for and participate in internal audits as well as QMS audits by clients and by certification bodies.
