Isabel Robinson, Principal Consultant at Robinson Research, is an international development practitioner with extensive experience in the Asia Pacific and high level research and report writing skills. She has over 10 years’ experience in the development sector, and from 2011-2014 was the PNG Program Coordinator for the Anglican Board of Mission with direct responsibility for the PNG Church Partnership Program, a multi-stakeholder development initiative funded by the Australian Government Since leaving ABM to start her own consultancy, Robinson Research, Isabel has undertaken research and evaluation projects for clients including the Vanuatu Church Partnership Program, Population Media Centre and ADRA Australia. Isabel has a broad interest in social justice issues, and is particularly interested in gender equality and disability rights. Alongside her consultancy work she works part-time as a Disability Inclusion Officer, giving her insight into the barriers faced by persons living with disabilities, and manages the City of Voices community theatre group, an inclusive creative group for people of all abilities run out of Port Melbourne Neighbourhood Centre. Isabel is also a freelance writer - her work has been published in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and various in-flight magazines. She speaks English, Mandarin, Italian and Tok Pisin. Managed a portfolio of DFAT-funded development projects across PNG, Vanuatu and China with a particular focus on the PNG and Vanuatu Church Partnership Programs. Key Achievements:• Monitored community development project implementation in remote areas of Vanuatu, PNG and China, with a focus on collecting qualitative data from project beneficiaries• Built strong, respectful relationships with key people to ensure project success• Mentored local staff in a range of areas including budgeting, planning and monitoring • Successfully oversaw the contract and financial management arrangements of Australian Government funded programs• Full development (shooting, directing, editing) of short films to promote ABM’s work to supporters and the wider development sector

- Work within a small team to oversee the production and roll-out of an Australia-wide media readership survey- Develop media research questionnaires, liaise with clients on research projects, analyse quantitative data, manage information database.

- Managed a team of local staff to undertake a country-wide quantitative research project for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Radio Campaign. - Organised logistics, supervised budget and staff payments, analysed research results & submitted an extensive Baseline Research Report to the United Nations. - Promotion of the project through local media including writing of relevant articles and taking photos for publication
