Authored a 30 page research report on turf fertilization trends in Maryland showing that lawn fertilizer is a significant component of total fertilizer use as compared with agricultural fertilizer. Title: “Lawn Fertilizer Contributions in the State of Maryland to Nutrient Loading in the Chesapeake Bay.” Report summary published on SafeLawns national blog.

Assisted in oceanographic administrative duties and projects. Rearranged office and lab areas for more efficient use of space and organized data samples and lab equipment for ease of use. Sorted and categorized oceanographic consortium files from the 1970’s to present.

Worked in a team for the North Carolina Maritime Museum to conduct a survey of Crystal Coast residents assessing their satisfaction with the museum with the goal of increasing museum attendance and educational outreach.
