· Respond or appropriately forward inquiries regarding education abroad, including but not limited to: deadlines, applications, program costs, scholarships, website, forms· Provide peer advising to students interested in studying abroad. Assist them with understanding the study abroad process, making program selections, applying, and completing all pre-departure requirements.· Schedule, present at, and follow-up on weekly Sharks Abroad Information Sessions· Assist at Education Abroad events and classroom presentations including Education Abroad Fairs, International Education Week Activities, Sharks Abroad Week, Pre-Departure Orientations, Re-Entry Receptions, Open Houses, etc.· Assist with all aspects of student communication and study abroad participant recruitment: social media projects, website content management, writing articles, creating flyers and posters, and other communication efforts.· Independently research programs and scholarships, their requirements and deadlines, in order to stay current with changing information.· Assist with study abroad application processing· Provide administrative/clerical support to International Affairs staff.· Communicate effectively to diverse audiences and interact thoughtfully with multicultural constituencies.· Other duties as assigned
