The International Studies Student Association (ISSA) is the official, student-run, departmental organization for the International Studies Program at UC San Diego. ISSA strives to build a globally-oriented community and connect students with the alumni network all over the world. Through career development events, socials, and networking opportunities, ISSA is a place to grow international awareness and career aspirations. As the Vice President:- Assisted the President in the logistics and operations of working with the executive board; liaison to the International Studies Program Advisors- Assisted in planning and executing nearly weekly events throughout the school year through delegations of roles, marketing and outreach- Managed the Writer's Committee, a platform for ISSA members to pen their thoughts into internationally-themed articles that were featured on the Student Soundbites Blog; maintained social media updates, the official blog page, and quarterly committee meetings
