Implementation Specialist
CurrentThe primary role of the Specialist, Implementation position is to travel on-site to healthcare organizations throughout the world to facilitate the implementation process of medical software.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Learn designated software applications as well as the implementation process-Understand workflows of hospital areas using designated applications-Demonstrate system knowledge through presentations and written projects-Consult and access customer’s specific needs and goals with the system-Assist customers during the implementation by advising how best to set up the system to meet operational and workflow goals-Develop workflow strategies that optimize system usage and are in line with established Best Practices and local laws-Train "Core Teams" of end-users-Perform ongoing education with existing customers via telephone, on-site audit visits, and seminars-Explain new software updates and changes to customers-Troubleshoot, research, and solve software problems and customer issues-Multitask five to eight different healthcare organizations with unique implementation timelines and requirements-Enter and track requests for system enhancements or modifications using JIRA-Heavy correspondence with customers-Update internal documentation, participate in group projects, and train co-workers as needed-Help customers design and create their system-This position requires 75% local, domestic, and/or international business travel. Such travel requires: the appropriate travel documents, the ability to legally drive in that location and/or rent a car to drive to any location necessary for business purposes.
