Worked with vendors to find new monitoring systems for ancient tanks. • Managed a drainage proposal on CHS property. Worked with civil engineers from KLJ engineering to produce a topographical map of property. Composed a drainage plan that accommodated both CHS and Montana Rail Link. • Created an automated system in excel to survey exchangers for fouling over any time period, potentially saving the refinery hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. Analyzed flow, change in temperature, specific heat of products, and cooling water to investigate fouling of 73 heat exchangers. Entire project completed and implemented in a five-week time period.• Worked with mechanical and chemical engineers to utilize old and current data for fouling test procedure. Often multiple variables missing from each exchanger, a manual temperature measuring process was implemented where needed. This effort provided insight on modifications that created a smooth transition to the final product.
