As a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life, I assist in the development, coordination, and management of programming and initiatives that support the growth and success of the university’s Greek life community. My role includes fostering positive relationships with chapter leadership, advising student organizations, and facilitating leadership development opportunities. I work closely with both student leaders and university staff to promote academic achievement, community engagement, and responsible behavior within the fraternity and sorority system.

Developed and structured the Spring NPHC and MGC Step Shows, while also running stage production. Helped assist with planning on campus events within organizations. Met with council members for event planning and meeting with other organizations/authority members on campus.

Served as a spiritual and peer mentor/advisor to students throughout the organization as well as within the campus community. Worked with faculty advisor to plan strategic events that will help with leadership skills on the Executive Board. Oversaw on campus events, concerts and services held by Executive Board.

Served as mentor to President & entire undergraduate chapter. Oversaw Chapter meetings and minutes from meeting. Guided chapter members with program planning. Hosting study sessions to maintain chapter GPA to expected status.

Assisted President in running chapter meetings and maintaining organization. Spearheaded on campus educational events and programming. Served as a representative to the Multicultural Office Advisory Board. Planned and organized community service programs and fundraisers, such as March Madness Basketball Tournament

Meet with 3 mentees for 2 hours each week. Build weekly reports to hand in to the Director or Assistant Director to keep up with well-being of student. Complete office hours for 2 hours a week to assist with needs around campus. Assist with program planning for events hosted by office for mentees.

Develop agendas for weekly executive board meetings. Work with chairpersons on board to plan effective events. Serve as the liaison between the executive board and the on-campus members. Maintain the integrity of organization and plan finalize any decisions made by board.
