I also have considerable hands-on experience across a variety of key roles, culminating as an IT Manager for the US Census Bureau. As an IT Manager, I developed IT strategies and systems to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. I designed, developed, and maintained computer networks and databases and I monitored performance to ensure continuous operations. I also researched cutting-edge technologies to recommend the implementation of new technologies and security measures, such as firewalls and data encryption.
