•Managed logistics in preparation for our October 12 mass canvass for Amendment 3 and Proposition A, co-sponsored by Abortion Action MO, SEIU MO/KS State Council, UAW Local 249, and more. •Cut turf daily on NGP VAN for 18 paid canvassers and even more volunteers across Kansas City and St. Louis who knocked over 20,000 doors to end Missouri’s abortion ban (Amendment 3), raise the minimum wage to $15, and guarantee paid sick days (Proposition A).•Maintained a database of the organization’s voter registration cards and tracked progress for our grant.•Pulled lists to track our canvassers’ weekly progress and the path to meeting the goals for our grant.•Created scripts, virtual phonebanks, events, donation forms, and online actions using Every Action for canvasses, a Get Out the Vote rally, and our two 2024 annual fundraisers.

•Conducted worksite visits and spoke to over 100 workers about the need for higher pay and paid sick days in St. Louis and Springfield.•Memorized different raps and adjusted them to each conversation.•Learned the principles of worker organizing for the first time as an organizer-in-training.

•Started a statewide Get Out the Vote campaign for young South Asian students at Texas universities. •Led a team of 7 volunteers to recruit students into the organization.•Expanded the organization’s youth outreach and helped grow our democracy.

•Created a Home Repair guide for Alders and St. Louis residents as part of an affordable housing project.•Restarted the city’s Poet Laureate Task Force. •Drafted social media content and legislative tasks for the Board.

With Dr. Alan Lambert and the entire lab group, the major focus of our research is to understand the role of emotion and affect in the process by which people form attitudes and judgments about persons and events. Our work pursues this aim in the context of research and theory on political psychology. Most recently, I designed a study measuring how different racial and ideological groups react to wealth inequality.

•Handled constituent correspondence through phone, voicemail, and physical mail. •Attended congressional hearings and wrote memos for staff. •Assisted Progressive Caucus aides with day-to-day work.

•As the sole US Policy intern, I researched the implementation of our federal climate policy. •Highlights included lobbying congressional staffs, writing reports on the federal infrastructure bill, and drafting content for the America is All In social media. •Presented to the broader US Climate team, including the Vice President, my research on the future of climate justice from an international perspective.

•Processed blood samples, ran PCRs on patient DNA, and identified genetic mutations causing Lipodystrophy or other adipose-related diseases.

•Researched 3D-printing for sugar-based soft pneumatic actuators in Dr. Yonas Tadesse's lab and presented our research at the NanoExplorers Symposium.
