Reviewing annual reports and accounts of commercially significant entities to monitor compliance of the financial statements with all relevant Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (LKAS/SLFRS) which are aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Management reporting on variance analysis of overheads with budget and prior periods. Monitor the budgets and cost centres by conducting review meetings with heads of cost centres.Formulate company plan for overheads and fixed assets and monitor and provide adequate management information for decision making. Uploading budgeted data and maintain the budgetary reports in SAP (ERP system).Implementation and managing procedures over additions, disposals, transfers, write-offs of local and imported fixed assets. Review possible risk exposure and prepare annual plan to cover these risks. This involved maintaining list of insurance covers, risks and values.
