How can such a huge audience be leveraged for a societal change? IN THIS PROJECT, I explored theories of behavioral change, grasped the mindset of a UK citizen, and mapped the activities of zoos and aquariums to identify their effects on the visitors. I answered two main questions: "What is the change that zoos should aim for?" and "How can zoos bring the change?" I answered these two questions by proposing an approach (Show-Sensitize-Inspire) and prototyping and testing a mobile app (Beyond the Zoo) to exemplify the approach.
