I never set out to be a writer, but I had a love of storytelling in my blood for as long as I could remember. I crafted an extensive plot in my mind for thirteen years until one day, a friend heard me describing it and asked what movie I was talking about. When I explained it was a story I developed on my own, I was told I had to write it down. I blames that friend for turning me into a writer, but instead of being upset, I asked her out. Before that final nudge over into writer-hood, I was inspired by a teacher who began a conversation about superheroes, eventually wondering idly why there were no Christian superheroes. Though a variety of experiences and aspects helped bring my story to life, like my father’s time in the army, and a daydream or two, this idea was the one that sparked the flame for me. I have finished my debut novel for a young adult audience. Plans are in the works for many more in the same series, including prequels and spin-offs of the original works. I considers himself a jack of all trades. On top of being an author, I have experiance as a woodworker, carpenter, amateur mechanic and handyman. I am a Christian preacher, a professional musician, songwriter, and film scorer. I have also worked as an IT help desk support person and a web developer. I also am growing my skills as an amateur herbologist. A self-proclaimed nerd, I sm a Star Wars lover and a Harry Potter fan. I have considered, on occasion, moving closer to Orlando to pursue a career as a cast member at Walt Disney World. In my spare time, I loves to watch movies, dabbles in video games, and enjoys hiking. I often feels the creativity begins to flow while out in nature and types ideas and scenes on my phone while walking. my biggest fans are my wife, my baby and four dogs. Food is my favourite food, and I would be hard-pressed to narrow down a preference further than that. I appreciates all types of cuisines and enjoys learning about the cultures and the inspiration behind them.
