My role is encompassing the following responsibilities:• Supervise in the delivery of audit engagements for wide range of clients in different industries including: Manufacturing, constructions, Trading, Finance Services, and NGOs.• Led and managed a team of audit seniors, provided clear direction, prioritized tasks, assigned and delegated responsibilities, and monitored the team performance and progress while providing coaching and mentoring.• Direct field work, inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status and manage staff performance.• Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas to broaden your technical skills.Oversee audit planning and reporting activities according to established policies.• Prepare reports with audit findings and recommendations.• Responsible for execution field work activities and submit accurate, complete, and timely working papers and reports to executives, managers, and clients.• Assessed business and audit risks, coordinated with professionals of various fields to include legal and IT experts, and contributed to decision-making of resolutions related to critical reportable matters.• Assisted clients in preparing financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework, which included compliance with International Accounting Standards, local companies laws and directives of regulatory authorities.• Evaluated internal control systems, identified control weaknesses and made appropriate recommendations to management.

Following are the main responsibilities I were managing as a Senior External Auditor:• Pre-planning: Understanding the nature and extent business, preparing pre-planning documents and forms.• Audit planning: Preparing Audit planning documents and forms.• Field work: Internal control assessment, control testing and evaluations, analysis of financial and non-financial information, sampling, enquires and investigation.• Pre-reporting: Preparing management letter, list of adjustments.• Reporting: drafting financial statements, audit report and letter of representation.• Assisting clients in preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with the financial reporting framework applicable which includes compliance with International Accounting Standards, local corporate laws and directives of regulatory authorities.• Evaluating internal control systems, identifying control weaknesses and making appropriate recommendations to the management.
