I'm the head of the Business Inteligence and Analytics department at GNP. We are migrating our old Dataware systems to a DataLake architecture using Hadoop, Spark and Google Cloud. We're also empowering our users with a new tools such as Pandas, Jupyter and Tableau.

I lead the team that provides software for car insurance business. I play an architect rol. I review architectures, design solutions and review planning. I'm also part of the team in charge of setting standards, tools and software process. Currently we are migrating our current systems to a micro services / cloud architecture in Google Cloud.

I worked in a project aimed to create a new platform for brokerage. Performance, distributed computing and web architecture are some of the topics involved. As part of my activities, I attended business requirements meetings and I participated in the design of both the software and hardware (data center) architecture. I also attended meetings with third-party software vendors. Must of the team has headquarters in NY.

I was involved in the architecture design, analysis, detailed design, implementation, testing, production release and maintenance of the new Trading Engine (MONET) for both equities and derivatives market. Started as a developer and configuration manager. Eventually became project and technical leader. My job was trying to understand business requirements, make and architecture design, make a plan, assign job to developers and code some of the main modules, coordinate testing and product delivery. Most of the software included web technologies and J2EE.
