Civil engineer with well over 6 years of exposure in the field of construction with exposure estimation work for road rehabilitation, all the road construction works, and the documents relevant to billing works. I started and continued my career with leading private construction companies in Sri Lanka by representing contractor parties in large-scale road construction projects in Sri Lanka, and thereafter, I engaged with the government organization “Road Development Authority”. I have engaged in two major roles in this organization by representing the engineer’s party for the construction of the “Ruwanpura” Expressway project and by representing the maintenance engineer in implementing the maintenance work of the local road network, which helped me to build my career as a versatile civil engineer.Working in tough environments has helped me to improve my skills in project planning, resource management, and progress monitoring in order to achieve project deliverables within a strict time schedule while maintaining quality standards. While utilizing academic and practical knowledge in sites, I believe effective communication, eagerness to learn, accepting challenges, stress balancing and leadership are plus points of my successful career. My goal is to become a skillful project manager who can contribute significantly to the development and growth of the construction industry.
