I have experience in many facets of environmental engineering consulting include water/waste water treatment, remediation, and water resources. As a process engineer my responsibilities have featured; conducting and reviewing engineering investigations including treatability studies, developing of process and instrumentation diagrams and mechanical design, and evaluating and sizing of equipment, equipment layout, cost estimates, and Operation & Maintenance manuals associated with groundwater remediation and municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities design, construction, and operation. As a remediation and natural resources engineer I developed remediation strategies and designed systems to treat sites impacted by anthropogenic compounds at multiple project locations throughout the U.S. under federal and state led RCRA and CERCLA programs and overseas including Germany, France and Brazil.- Design, construct and operate remediation and treatment systems primarily using bioremediation techniques such as constructed wetlands, phytoremediation and enhanced reductive dechlorination but also in-situ chemical oxidation and thermal treatments.- Integrate stormwater management into remediation and site restoration.- Conduct wetland delineations of contaminant-impacted sites.- Conduct wildlife monitoring and installation of wildlife habitat enhancement features to support client application for Wildlife Habitat Council’s Wildlife at Work Certification.- Develop and conduct site investigations under RCRA and CERCLA programs.- Present remediation findings at multiple international conferences.As a project manager I have been responsible for proposal preparation for new and ongoing work scope, maintaining healthy project budget, client and regulatory status updates with written reports and regular meetings and achieving client scorecards.Moving forward in my career I would like to expand my practice area with nature based treatment and restoration techniques with a particular focus on constructed wetlands.
