Historic Site Manager
Current- Manage the daily operations of the Josiah Henson Museum & Park (JHMP), which includes the historic Riley/Bolten House, adjoining log kitchen, Visitor Center and grounds.
- Responsible for strategic planning for the overall development of the JHMP.
- Serve as the Key Museum Spokesperson, provide technical leadership, program direction and expertise to the community and other Commission, county and government organizations.
- Develops specialized historic and/or interpretive programs, events or activities related to the mission of the JHMP.
- Oversees budget development and fiscal management for the overall facility in concert with Supervisor, Section Lead, Division Chief and Department Budget Managers.
- Supervises the Education Program Manager (career) and the Museum Educator (seasonal) at JHMP and oversees the recruitment and management of seasonal staff.
