Responsible for planning, organizing and directing a significant portion of City CU’s functions including the Information Technology Department, Human Resource Department, Training, Mergers, Project Management, Business Continuity, and Security. Directs the activities of these departments and functions ensuring that all areas of responsibility support City CU’s Strategic Plan, policies, programs, objectives, and goals. Represents City CU to various regulatory agencies, professional associations, other financial organizations, trade associations, and the community.

Directs and manages computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish credit union goals and objectives as well as data and physical security for the credit union. Responsible for directing the Human Resource Department and staff in the administration of wage and salary, Associate and labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, and organization development.

Responsible for all Information Technology staff and related operations for the credit union, including 9 branch locations. Assure quality customer service of desktop support, network, and server administration. Lead a team of five full-time employees, overseeing helpdesk, network operations, and server administration. Hold yearly performance appraisals for IT staff. Develop productive team members, encouraging and redirecting as necessary. Support over 150 workstations and 25 servers. Create budget for technology needs, including operating budget, large-scale asset acquisitions, staff salaries, and professional development. Serve as technical liaison for outside vendors. Oversee the research, development, and evaluation of new technical tools to be utilized within the credit union. Assure PCI compliance for credit and debit card transactions.

Lead a team of 20 employees to deliver services to various college faculty, staff, research assistants, and students. Hold yearly performance appraisals for IT staff. Develop productive team members, encouraging and redirecting as necessary. Support over 500 workstations and 10 servers within the college. Member of the CHES Associates Committee that fosters and advises on college fundraising initiatives. Maintain relationships with college alumni, donors, and administrators. Serve on the Dean's Executive Committee comprised of deans, department heads, and directors. Leader of the college Strategic Planning Committee for enhancing technology. Create budget for technology needs, including operating budget, large-scale asset acquisitions, staff salaries, and professional development. Ad hoc member of the college Student Technology Fee Committee, advising on funding of large-scale projects within budgetary constraints. Serve as technical liaison for OSU IT Division, college associates, and external entities. Oversee the research, development, and evaluation of new technical tools to be utilized within the college. Assure PCI compliance for payment card systems within the Atherton Hotel, Ranchers Club, Taylor's Dining, and Westside Café in the Department of Hotel Restaurant Administration. Assure quality customer service of desktop support and server administration for several diverse departmental needs.

Served as manager for all College of Human Environmental Sciences computing labs. Managed a staff of 15 student assistants in the operation of HES labs, and IT support office. Provided desktop and server support to college faculty, staff, and students. Provided strategic planning for technology needs, including budgeting and asset acquisition for the college. Served as technical liaison to the OSU IT Division, and college associated external entities. Acquired and provided server based service infrastructure supporting diverse college IT needs. Active Directory and Novell administrator. Developed databases for asset acquisition and management. Audited licensing and documentation for legal compliance.

Served as project manager for the implementation and operation of the IT based solutions for all College of Education staff, faculty, and students. Implemented major upgrades to the computing systems within the college. Supported College of Education computing labs. Managed technical support personnel. Coordinated the acquisition and distribution of over 400 computing systems within the college. Provided strategic planning for technology needs within the college. Managed 7 Windows and Macintosh OS servers running a variety of services such as database, websites, software imaging, file and print services, etc. Administered Microsoft and Macintosh networks. Researched and deployed specialized solutions for research-specific needs. Served as technical and security liaison for OSU IT Division, NASA, OSU Flight Center.
