Full stack data lead for Subscriptions and Services team. I developed and maintained production data pipelines with PySpark on AWS, trained and deployed churn models using XGBoost, built self-service tools for stakeholders in Mode Analytics, and created reproducible deep-dive analyses to answer questions on hardware performance, user behavior, and user.

As the first data science hire, I was responsible for establishing many of the processes and tooling used withing the DS team, as well as serving as tech lead on all major DS projects. These included an automated pricing model that also included modules to route complex policies to human underwriters, an NLP system to classify prospective clients based on.

Led independent research project on collective behavior in bacteria, with results published in PNAS (https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.1811887116). For this work I created large-scale simulations of interacting microbial communities, and developed mechanistic mathematical models to contextualize experimental results.
