Joined Granulate as an early stage employee to lead the customer facing product of the company.Before I joined, the team was composed out of low level engineers.TLDR: Granulate helps companies reduce cloud costs by up to 60% without code changes. My responsibility was ensuring that customers continuously know how much money they are saving and how much better their performance is using realtime benchmarking of current performance with their previous state before using Granulate.Notable achievements:● Built an analytics system using real time data aggregation pipeline with InfluxDB● Built a dashboard system with an interactive resource map using a canvas● Built AWS integrations for resource monitoring, pricing data, billing● Built an end-to-end notifications system● Built a pricing calculator to reflect Granulate's ongoing improvement ● Postgres database design, query design and optimization (Reduced 10 min queries to a few seconds using caching, denormalization, materialized views, and other optimizations)● Built a scheduling service for running ongoing tasks

Built a great product that's streamlined zoom meetings. We summarized action items, tracked engagement and empowered speakers to run effective meetings.Notable achievements:● Founding member with Dr. Micha Breakstone (Chorus.ai) and Mike Mallin (MyHeritage.com) ● Built 2 systems from scratch resulting in a $2M raise from notable angel investors● Eventually the founders wanted to build other companies, so we returned the capital to the investors and embarked on other adventures instead.In 2023 Microsoft Teams has released a similar tool to the public. Still a great product!

Built a precision-medicine system that reduced drug discovery time by up to 50%, helping pharmaceutical companies develop personalized medications for neurodegenerative-diseases.I had the great fortune of working with Dr. Ally Eran from MIT, and together we've handled fundraising, building the R&D team and the product itself. Our idea was simple:1) Take skin cells from patients 2) Convert them into pseudo-brain cells automatically (IPSCs) 3) Apply experimental drugs to the pseudo-brain cells 4) Record the genetic expression from new cells 5) Estimate if the treatment was effective (By seeing if the cells looked healthier) Notable achievements:● Led an interdisciplinary team of 4 specializing in Data Science, Genomics, and Neuroscience.● Built a distributed ETL system for data processing. ● Built an drug prediction system. ● Acquired by Q-State Biosciences.
