In a sentence, I am a pragmatic system designer mindful of both form & function. Most of my experience and technical forte can be consolidated within the realm of automotive and mechatronic systems. I learn by doing and particularly enjoy working hands-on than hands-off. As such, my technical breadth is demonstrable through projects relating to diverse topics such as modeling and simulation of electrical drivetrains, autonomous driving systems, and optimization of large metal components for 3D printing, to name a few. Over the years, I have learned to transfer and apply my experience across domains to be a holistic system thinker. Being a systems engineer, I particularly enjoy: • Applying cutting-edge research to solve real-world industrial challenges• Translating customer needs to tangible design requirements• Making the complex problems manageable• At the end, see all the hard work in action!I relish working in teams where everybody's opinion has value and the communication within is open and direct. I thrive in an informal workspace but don't mind putting my formal side in front when needed. As part of a team, I typically help add structure to the processes, inspire sustainable yet effective documentation practices during development, and I am not afraid to ask the right questions to spark discussions within the team. During my me-time, I pride myself on planning the best travel experiences on budget, knowing the latest and greatest in consumer electronics, and automating my home to make it that much more efficient. I typically unwind by cooking my favorite recipes and zooming through the city on a bike for fun!
