I'm a software engineer based in Seattle, WA. Experienced in working with JavaScript, React.JS, Redux, Node.JS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Python and most recently TypeScript.I've always enjoyed diving into languages and figuring out how they work. I hold a degree in Spanish, and achieved a near native level of fluency after living and working in Spain for a couple of years. I have also studied and used Korean and Japanese in both professional and conversational settings while teaching in those countries.In early 2020 when classes in South Korea went fully remote I started developing single page apps and games to keep classes engaging in lieu of the using static presentation slides most teachers were using.While it wasn't the spoken languages that I was used to learning, teaching, and using to make my life simpler - executing lines of code and learning these computer languages became a passion. I've spent the past few years developing these skills, diving into JavaScript and other modern front end technologies, and recently expanding my knowledge of the back end with Node.JS, MongoDB, and now Python.
