Hi! My name is Grant Nguyen. I am a competitive American Ninja Warrior and rock climbing athlete. I am pursing my Masters degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Curriculum & Instruction. I am striving for a career in education to help promote a healthy lifestyle for others. I'm fascinated by sport psychology and learning about how concepts such as sport imagery, goal-setting, and growth mindset can be applied to current physical education programs. My anticipated graduation from the program is in the Spring of 2025.Throughout my life, I have always dreamt big when it came to setting goals for myself. It has kept me passion driven to be the best athlete I can be, and constantly chasing milestones. In doing so, I found that I get the same rewarding feeling when I get the opportunity to be a part of other people's growth and development, through teaching. As an athlete continuing to compete at the national level in climbing and ninja warrior, I aim to learn from all of my experiences to ultimately bring it back into my teaching. As a coach and teacher, my goal is to set good examples and be a positive influence for the people around me.
