Hello! I'm Itzel, a first-year student at Wilbur Wright College in Chicago, IL. I'm currently pursuing my associates in bioengineering with the intention of transferring to the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. So far, my time at Wright has been very beneficial to me as it is cultivating my networking and collaboration skills in a professional setting. For example, I was elected as co-community service director for the American Chemical Society in Wright's chapter. In this role, I collaborate with the community service director to organize volunteering opportunities for the organization. I've experienced taking initiative in project management and building my confidence in that. My goal is to earn an internship to learn and grow more.
