Guides the achievement of the school’s long and short-term enrollment goals by overseeing all aspect of admissions and recruitment activities in a highly dynamic environment.Oversees the strategic use of enrollment forecasts and predictive models to achieve enrollment objectives and supports students throughout in their degrees.Manages the portfolio of strategic communications to prospective students.Manages relationships with key stakeholders within Indiana University and the Kelley School as well as external stakeholders including but not limited to students, parents, and alumni.Supervises a team of admissions professionals.

Overall responsibility for student recruiting, admissions and operations processes, student services, corporate recruiting, services, and staff for Information Systems Graduate Programs in the Kelley School of Business. Develops and directs the implementation of policies and procedures for marketing, recruiting, admissions, advising, registration, degree audit, course projections/scheduling, major events, case competitions and the other administrative functions which support the delivery of the MSIS and future graduate degree programs.

Provides leadership for the Kelley Undergraduate Program admissions team, with responsibility for the creation of a strategic plan, implementation, and outcomes assessment of the various pathways to Kelley admission. Plays a key role in the Undergraduate Program’s goal to increase enrollment of target population students in the Kelley School of Business. In addition to the students who ultimately choose to attend IU and Kelley, the Kelley admissions team manages direct and indirect communication with business suspects and prospects and high school sophomores and juniors who indicate interest in studying business at Indiana University. Disseminates decisions and manages inquiries and disputes of admissions decisions with various constituencies. Responsibilities are of a professional nature, including evaluating student records and interpreting sensitive data. Supervises full-time staff and creates innovative programs.

• Leads and cultivates a community living experience for students that foster individual responsibility, acceptance, and academic growth. • Serves as a judicial hearing officer communicating, interpreting, and administering residence hall rules and regulations, as well as the Student Code of Conduct, creating action plans for students to foster growth and development when found liable of violating policies.• Counsels students to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affectingtheir educational situations.• Collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to provide in-center programs that enhance and promote academic success.• Provides direction to the Graduate Supervisors and undergraduate Resident Assistants (RA), conducting weekly meetings with the residence hall staff, frequent individual meetings with each RA, and corrective action meetings to discuss performance concerns when necessary.

• Supervised, trained and evaluated 14 housing assistants and 9 summer desk staff employees.• Worked as an informational resource to student staff answering questions regarding policies and procedures and was available to provide crisis intervention support 24/7.• Maintained high level of customer service and responded to all inquiries from orientation students, their families and conference attendees promptly. • Prepared, processed, and maintained a variety of confidential documents and files pertaining to summer conferences, orientation housing, and performance evaluations for student staff members.• Tabulated and produce daily statistical reports pertaining to registration processes, while ensuring completeness and accuracy.

• Mentored and supervised 6 students in their role as Resident Assistants conducting bi-weekly meetings to monitor their development as staff members and students. • Planned and implemented summer training to promote the adjustment of students to new life experiences such as leading as a Resident Assistant. • Organized, promoted, and executed programs related to life skills and academic areas for over 800 students in Eigenmann Residence Center. • Developed reports on students and activities as required by administration serving as the Treasurer of the Eigenmann Resident Assistant Student Programming account. • Acted as a judicial officer providing crisis intervention to students when difficult situations occurred.
