-Working with, supporting and training both primary and secondary UK and international schools to bring forth the most effective provision for their EAL and multilingual learners. -Working with multi-academy trusts, local authorities and school groups to apply Learning Village as a capacity tool within their EAL provision as well as establishing best EAL practice in terms of assessments, admissions, progress tracking and attainment. -Supporting with and leading on EAL topic-based webinars and EAL courses to provide professional training to EAL staff, teachers and senior leadership teams within primary and secondary schools as well as member schools.- Writing articles for the company blog and other sources as well as creating scaffolded resources to support differentiation for EAL learners.-Providing demos and training for all teaching and support staff for the successful implementation of Learning Village as a whole school approach to improve the EAL provision in their schools.

The role of the PEaCH Ambassador is to support, maintain and develop children's multilingual skills at home and at their educational settings and share the positive message of multilingualism on social media.

-Leading, collaborating with and managing other EAL specialists across the groups' primary and secondary schools to raise awareness of what EAL is and how to support EAL learners' needs.-Establishing an EAL network of EAL teachers, Heads of EAL and EAL Coordinators to provide effective and unified EAL provision across all group's schools.-Leading on TeachMeets with a specific EAL focus where best EAL practice is shared and needs of EAL pupils are discussed as well as providing support to staff who teach and work with EAL pupils.-Mentoring class teachers, subject teachers and EAL teachers to gain confidence when supporting EAL learners.-Responsible for the online content of the EAL presence on the company website by gathering, evaluating and reviewing EAL materials and resources.

-Leading, managing and coordinating the effective provision for all EAL pupils in and out of the classrooms and ensuring further developing of their acquisition of the English language as well as their full access to the curriculum. -Working with registrars and admission teams to streamline the admissions process and improve the experience for international families e.g. through initial and termly assessments for EAL pupils, levelling of pupils' language skills in English (reading, writing, listening/understanding, speaking) using EAL specific levels (e.g. Bell), progress reporting and analysing progress data trends for the Principal and SLT team, progress tracking and monitoring.-Analysing of languages and nationalities data to prepare reports.-Maintaining links with families and social services to ensure effective EAL support.-Introducing initiatives to celebrate diversity and promoting languages (e.g. Language of the Term, Language Ambassadors, International Week, language taster sessions, EAL trips) etc.-Working collaboratively with class teachers, EAL teachers and other support staff who teach and work with International pupils, in order to raise the attainment of all EAL pupils who might be at various stages of learning English – from complete beginners to more advanced learners.-Developing and enhancing the teaching practice of all staff by providing valuable EAL specialist advice, EAL specific strategies to use in the classrooms, as well as INSET and training sessions for all staff.-Mentoring and coaching of teachers and EAL specialist teachers through performance management.

-Leading, managing and coordinating the EAL (English as an Additional Language) support provision for all international pupils within and across all schools part of Minerva Education Group. -Working collaboratively with EAL teachers, class and subject teachers, SLT teams and Headteachers, admission teams and registrars to set up an uniformed system across and within the group's schools for teaching, supporting and developing the English language skills of EAL pupils and thus improving their attainment, academic progress and better access to the school curriculum.-Providing training in staff meetings, school inset days and the school group's conference days on the needs, diversity and academic development of EAL pupils, celebrating their languages, benefits of multilingualism etc. as well as mentoring and coaching colleagues through performance management.-Analysing progress data trends for EAL learners and reporting to Heads and Board by creating action plans.-Reviewing, evaluating and updating EAL policies and other related paperwork is a major part of this role.

-Setting-up, developing and leading the EAL department in St Nicholas Preparatory School, London, UK (part of Cognita Schools).-Induction and assessment of newly arrived EAL pupils; setting targets and planning schemes of work aimed at EAL pupils; tracking and monitoring pupils'​ progress using EAL specific levels; creating and updating the EAL registers.-Producing progress reports and analysing progress data trends.-Keeping languages and nationalities data records.-Working with the admission team to streamline the admission process of international pupils.-Working with families and carers to offer the best possible EAL learning experience and support programme.-Planning for and delivering EAL specialist lessons - individual support for identified EAL pupils, small groups out of class teaching, co-teaching in the classroom with class teachers.-Adapting teaching materials to the EAL pupils' needs; designing and producing EAL teaching materials to scaffold and support differentiation.-Providing EAL specialist advice to teaching and support staff on EAL strategies; developing & maintaining home-school links; EAL timetabling; leading EAL and multilingualism focused assemblies, projects and initiatives to embrace, value and celebrate languages diversity. -Providing EAL training for staff on inset days and at staff meetings and mentoring support.
