As the current Managed Service Provider for a comprehensive women’s healthcare facility, supporting 30+ users, my responsibilities are to maintain and administer all systems and services that I designed, built and implemented. Perform network and systems assessments and, develop Get-Healthy projects that allow for successful MSP operations; Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes; Build, manage and maintain mixed VOSE (built on MS Hyper-V 2008 R2 / 2012 R2, VMware ESXI 5.x, and Citrix XenServer) and POSE, that connects to various types of storage technologies including DELL PS4000 series iSCSI arrays. Carry out data backups and disaster recovery using AppAssure, Datto and StorageCraft solutions; Construct equipment configuration prototypes for network hardware, software, servers, or server OS’s; Assess system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.

Team member of 6 in-house IT Professionals, supporting one of the largest professional services network in the world, by revenue and the number of professionals. Responsible for investigating user problems, identifying source, and implementing solutions. Worked closely with CallPilot, Active Directory, and Nortel Enterprise Switch Manager. In charge of liaising with the LAN administrator and assisted with all network functions.

Responsible for the satisfaction of 600+ users connecting though windows XP workstations to Virtual LAN’s configured on a domain. Support remote users in Middleburg, Parktown, Richards Bay, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town who were users of Citrix software. Accountable for an up-to-date Asset Register, which contained all the computer equipment within the company.

Responsible for calls being dispatched to the relevant specialists, ensuring closure/resolution within a 4 hour turnaround time. Telephonically supported 3000+ users from 12 depots. Network Printer Administrator, monitoring the printer network using Web Image Monitors. Lead trainer for new staff on the helpdesk position.

Responsible for 50 computers on one domain; support remote sites via remote desktop and support sessions.
