• Perform server installation, configuration, and maintenance projects to ensure the scalability of your data center infrastructure.• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the Server platform of the different managed solutions, to prevent known problems from affecting the operation of the services.• Maintain the proper functioning of server platforms, ensuring compliance with the institution's SLA.• Provide support in monitoring the availability and optimal performance of Data Center services and resources to detect incidents.• Upgrade server hardware and software to improve the performance of different System components.• Fix technical failures and incidents presented on the Servers and Storage Equipment platform, reducing out-of-operation times for server platforms and storage equipment.• Reinstall the system of obsolete or failed servers that warrant it, in order to rehabilitate servers that have problems.• Record and report failures and incidents, to have statistics that help improvement plans.• Perform configuration and administration of the mail solution, as well as configuration and administration of the Backup platform, to have copies of the information and systems of the institution.• Assist in monitoring the availability and good performance of Data Center services and resources in order to ensure operational continuity of services.• Keep up-to-date the inventory databases of the equipment that are used in the Data Center, in order to correctly size the technological base according to institutional needs.• Perform other complementary functions derived from the nature of your position, at the request of your immediate supervisor, to achieve the objectives of the area.
