As a Director of Cobus, I oversee the many quotations that are submitted by Cobus each day. I have been with the company since I left school in July 1995 and have built up a substantial knowledge of the industry over the subsequent years. My initial involvement was working on deliveries and installation. From 2004 I became more office bound and was looking after the operational side of the business. As well as operations, I began going out on site visits, carrying out site surveys and space planning. In 2008 we increased our focus on the educational sector and I looked after the majority of state school business. In 2010 I moved away from operations and was involved solely in sales. In 2016 my involvement in sales and face to face visits decreased and I became a strong part of the quoting/estimation department. Cotswold Business Supplies became Cobus in August 2017. I am still heavily involved in the quoting and estimating team and also have a small amount of involvement in CAD design. My journey with Cobus has been fantastic and I have been part of many changes in the company. The biggest change I have experienced is our expansion into the office interior fit-out market and, as a result of this change in direction, our team has been expanding since the beginning of 2018.
