In KPMG Ignition I lead the technical team responsible for management, governance and support of the IT and AV solutions in the department. Some key aspects of this role are:• Ensure consistent and uninterrupted performance of all IT and AV systems. Manage the end-to-end resolution of tech issues• Drive innovation and implement cutting edge technology solutions • Technical production of high-profile events and conferences• Technology project management and delivery• Maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships, ensuring service delivery is in line with contract agreements• Technology budget management• Ensure compliance of all technology systems with security standards• Asset management and quality checks• Keep comprehensive documentation updated

As the desktop support team lead my responsibilities included:• Manage performance and operation of a team of 20 engineers who provide technical support to over 8,000 users.• Manage a three-tier service system comprising a walk-in centre, 2nd line software support and hardware support.Key responsibilities:• Ensure high-quality service delivery to all customers• Support and guide the team in resolving customer issues effectively in line with approved processes• Performance management of team members• Act as a point of contact for escalated user issues and team member inquiries• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic and operational plans• Drive knowledge sharing by developing a knowledge base and promoting effective communication• Keep documentation updated• Asset management and quality checks• Continuous service and processes improvement
