Manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit.Strategy: Implements the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility. Provides input to global business unit/product group strategy. Develops proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.Performance targets: Ensures achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focuses on achievement of operating cash flow, project on-time and on cost, requested on-time delivery (ROTD) and cost reduction.Manufacturing: Leads and manages manufacturing function and operation teams and processes. Implements localization plan. Improves manufacturing technology and competence in line with business unit/product group strategy.Quality & Operational Excellence: Executes business unit/product group Quality strategy. Drives quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes. Executes quality management for monitoring and validating day to day control of processes. Ensures manufacturing operations are in compliance with applicable standards. Drives continued improvements in productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization. Customer satisfaction: Delivers operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS). Ensures that manufacturing resources implement improvements that address issues identified through Customer Complaint Resolution Process (CCRP), Top 5 Quality Initiatives (T5QI) and other voice of the customer initiatives.Safety and integrity: Implements Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units. Ensures a safe working environment, and continuous improvement inHSE process and integrity performance. Personally lives the ABB values and Group standards.

Prepares annual production budget, oversees progress, and determinesactions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within thebudget and resources.Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization tothe highest level of operational performance while optimizing workingcapital throughout Operations. Collaborates with Operational Excellenceteams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value added costs, increaserevenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with highfactory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.Ensures that L6S and 4Q Program (the standard ABB process improvementmethodology) training and methods are implemented into the organization.Ensures compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directivesand that regulations are implemented, while monitoring and reportingprogress and results. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implementsplans to ensure people and equipment safety.Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility isproperly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates anddevelops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

- Transfer of production from ABB Switzerland to ABB Bulgaria.- Ramping up the production and building the team.- Implementation of 5S tools and building a procees with all departments in order to provide high Quality products.
