I am a business minded person, but my passion and calling is engineering and innovation. ORCA is a first long term engineering project I took up to create something that is new and has not really been done before. I soon realized that knowledge of engineering isn't enough to innovate, it required a spark, and that spark for me was ignited by my families hardships, and it is only because of those family hardships that I was able to dedicated nearly 5 years/10,000 hours to this project and cause. Success requires patience, my success is to witness Orca serving patients. The end goal of ORCA is to prevent falls of patients, to make going to the toilet/ORCA as pain free and as safe as possible, and also to provide more economic value to healthcare facilities through other innovations that ORCA is equipped with.
