• The thesis introduces a decision-making framework to help the potential investors assess the economic outlook of Offshore wind farms on Norwegian Continental Shelf. • The framework included parameters like distance from shore, water depth, wind farm capacity among others. The coded model calculates the NPV value of the project. A sensitivity analysis is performed to obtain material parameters. Finally, these material parameters are presented as probability distributions.• The framework can be extensively used to ground the idea of investing in Offshore Wind projects worldwide and assist potential investors to pick better alternatives thereby enabling good decisions.
