Hello--I'm Ivan. I'm an organization builder. I work under the house, strengthening the foundation. I'm skilled in project management, data analysis, data visualization, vendor management, operations, budgeting, risk assessment, system building, fundraising management, and automation. I'm an advanced user of the Google and Microsoft workspaces. I've built add-ons to visualize seven figure budgets, dashboards used to grow operations to national scale, designed budgeting and fundraising tools used by everyone from interns to C-suite. But I know a strong organization isn't just its functions. I'm a skilled communicator--I volunteer at a suicide hotline, where I've refined my direct, explicit communication and empathy. I leverage these skills into professional relationships that don't waste time on miscommunication, that address conflict before it proliferates, that concentrate on work. Communication, of course, includes writing. I'm a stickler for evidence, prose, and detail. I need the facts: I'll get on the phone and ask the field organizer for anecdotes; I'll visit the wetlands myself so I can relay the sounds and smells, the thing we're trying to protect, when I pitch a funder. And I won't abide substandard work: I've been the penultimate point of review for hundreds of proposals. I know how to write in house style, how to give feedback, how to say no until the writing is polished to gleaming. I'm currently seeking roles in operations, consulting, project management, grant management, and grantwriting, development, strategy, and business intelligence. I look forward to working with you.
