• Joint Expeditionary Team Advisor in Regional Command – East, Afghanistan.• Identifies effective Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP’s) used by coalition forces in order to share with other units.• Advises military leaders when observed C-IED TTP’s are ineffective and assists with the integration of all C-IED enablers.• Provides military leaders with relevant tactical and operational knowledge and experience in C-IED and targeting methodology.• Observes the employment of material solutions and identify the strengths, weaknesses and the concepts of employment in order to provide recommendations to JIEDDO.• Advises units on effective counter insurgency methods to protect the populace and target personalities and cells that utilize IED’s.
