Full cycle applications designer and developer in charge currently of creating parsing applications to process the files that feed the main system.• Designed, coded, tested and implemented solutions, using C# for the applications to schedule and process the files, and MS SQL Server to design the databases including tables and views, as well as coding functions and stored procedures.

Software team leader of the Compliance Services Division in Brookfield, (formerly known as RAIR, LLC). Designed and implemented several services, including GPS verification, CSA and Form Identification, complementing the main log processing service. Collaborated with Business Intelligence and Analysts teams from DriveCam, Inc., the Division from San Diego. • Designed and implemented GPS verification process which included database architecture, ETL and validation processes using C# and SQL Server, and reporting data presentation on web pages using C# and .Net infrastructure. • Designed and implemented database solution for CSA while guiding web-based solution with Trucking Safety expert. It included importing and processing government generated files as well as daily-client-approved loads from FMCSA to be validated under the 2010 CSA methodology. • Designed integration of new processes when bringing aboard important clients, including a structural transition to process time sheets with logs in preparation for FedEx data load. • Implemented Hours of Service changes of 2013 to stay current with Government changes. • Structured the development force in RAIR by splitting the resources into two teams to own and specialize in distinct identifiable services that made them more robust (Logs and Accuracy in one team and DQ/TQ and CSA in the other team).

Designed and implemented desktop applications like internal tools for users as well as automated applications to keep clients’ data flowing into the system. Developed new reports and helped switched our web based solution to the current version, while being in charge of its deployment to the production environment. • Supported billing process by providing data of consumed services on a monthly basis via an MS Access interface to the Finance department. • In charge of the driver logs service, updated Hours of Service (HOS) logic to the new regulations established in 2004. Later updated them to 2005 changes and also implemented Canadian HOS validation and their update in 2007. • Helped designing and later continued implementing integration of external OCR tool to identify log forms, ABBYY. • Designed set of tables and processes to allow for client configuration flexibility to handle their requests and additional data needs. • Designed and implemented electronic-logs importer and processes to handle non-paper logs, being the base for the current solution for importing electronic-logs from different providers like QualComm, PeopleNet, XRS, etc. • Developed tools to allow editing data via web pages after bulk of images have been imported and processed when data entry issues could be corrected. • Created Driver List importing process and defined standard layout to request from clients. • Maintained internal desktop tools for Client Account Managers to verify data entry accuracy.

- Being in a SaaP pioneer company, I was part of a team that was learning how to provision clients to local Active Directory structures that would maintain separate structures per client. Main service offered was Microsoft Exchange and subsequent were the MS Office Suite products.- After receiving legacy knowledge from 4 developers in Florida, was in charge of the web site changes and implementations in production.- Started revamping the legacy site with an XML-oriented development to automate tasks based on XML content rather than on traditional coding.

- Contracted for 6 months and ended up working for a year and a half at this ISO certified CMM level 3 company. The project was an Intranet application. It provided the interface for the AIS group to setup debit accounts and query transaction history. Responsible for the development of Active Server Pages and HTML pages using JavaScript for the Front-End. Designed and created some of the COM components in Visual Basic 6.0.- Contracted for 4 weeks at RAIR Technologies to develop a mockup series of reports to help design the future site of the Driver Logs website's product of the company. Since it only took a week, the rest of the time was designing a solution for validating Hours of Service under truck regulations. Also helped designing a Data Entry tool to capture the activity graph submitted by the truck drivers.

- Responsible for the development of Active Server Pages to revamp a Hotel Association’s web site.- Designed and created COM components in Visual Basic 6.0.- Built SQL stored procedures to complement the development required from the database standpoint.

- This project as a whole was to develop statistical software using MS Visual Basic and SQL Server to show bank business evolution. The information was stored in AS/400 and other SQL Server databases, which had to be extracted and redistributed in an MS SQL Server data warehouse. Responsible for the design of user interface with COM and DCOM objects.- Built a Control Panel application for interfacing with AS/400 data and into a SQL Server database.- Developed a Management Information System interface to summarize bank status from different business points of view.- Built a Budget Management application to allow a Division to qualify their clients and credit according to their payment behavior.- Responsible for the interface design and coding of the modules and objects involved as well as for the correct generation of control reports.

- As an Officer of the Colombian Navy, I was placed in this Naval Base in charge of the Information Office which was composed of 2 Non-Commanding Officers and two Civilians, all software technicians.- Designed and implemented the military and civilian Personnel Information System using MS Visual Basic 4.0 and MS Access 2.0.- Advised senior naval forces for procurement of software and hardware for the ships' squads and headquarters offices.- Trained 4 persons to use development tools: MS Visual Basic 4.0 and MS Access 2.0.- Provided technical software support to the MS Office 95 users of the Base.- Served as software instructor for 2 semesters for a group of people that were about to graduate as software technicians.

- Provided technical software support to FMG’s PC LAN, as well as to network and desktop applications.- Team member of the Selection committee to change FMG's Novell LAN to WAN.- Coordinated working LAN's in Medellín, Cali, Buenaventura, Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta in Colombia with the main LAN in Bogotá.

- One of the team members working in Personal 2000, a proprietary application designed to manage employee personnel information developed with MS Visual Basic 3.0, initially using MS Access 1.0 and implemented with Oracle as needed accordingly to the size of the company where this produce would be sold.- Helped presenting different layouts of the data to allow the Project lead to pick the most suitable presentation of the data.- Designed a Calendar control to be used throughout the application.
