During my final MBA year project, my responsibilities included: market research, conducting interviews with practitioners, analyzed information, financial model building, operations model building, client communications and relationship management and overall project management.

Summary: Worked as an SAP project manager for a medium-sized company that manufactures, markets and distributes food additives in Europe. Was in charge for the choice of ERP, choice of implementing company, project and change management and alignment of IT with business strategy.What I did:■ Pre-project phase•Conducted a process review and analysis and outlined the business processes in the company•Defined the goals and scope of the project•Researched for ERP vendors and implementing companies present on the Bulgarian market•Analyzed the different ERPs (technical fit, total cost of ownership, implementation length and cost, support level from existing vendors and implementing companies, regulatory requirements, upgrades)•Offered to tender to several SAP implementation companies•Offered to tender to several hardware companies for the servers infrastructure•Analyzed the different offers for the implementation of SAP All-in-one (cost of implementation, cost of further customization in case needed, recommendations for the company, past successful projects, team of consultants and project leader)•Finalized commercial agreement■ Project phase•Prepared the organization structure of the project and the team•Defined the change management, escalation and communication procedures towards the different stakeholders. •Prepared the communication plan and coordinated the status meetings. Summary: Consultant at the Banking & Financial Services division in Paris. Consulted for "Natixis Paiements" (leading electronic payment service providers in Europe and Group BPCE's electronic banking operator). Worked as full-time consultant in one of the most innovative, dynamic and team oriented divisions, which is in charge of the coordination of projects, change management, functional support, and incident management. I worked in several modes:■ Incident Management mode:•Accountable for the front and middle office electronic payment real-time authorization platform (Issuance and Acquisition/ATM functions)•Analyzed in stressful situations the real-time front-office incidents, isolated the cause(s), proposed, and executed an action plan for their resolution•Coordinated the cross-functional teams involved in the resolution•Monitored the resolution and reported to the banks impacted by the incidents under the required SLA conditions•Verified the final resolution, document, and closed the incident■ Project Management mode (new issuances, mergers of banks, migration of banks on the authorization platform)•Accountable for the functional migration of new banks on the electronic payment authorization platform•Established the time-line and the order for the migration of all the functional areas necessary for the authorization process (Cardholders, Accounts, Balance, Security keys, functional controls on the BINs).•Coordinated the actions of the technical team•Accountable for the functional customization of the authorization platform in the cases of new cards' launches■ Change Management mode•Organized training sessions following the migration of a new bank on the platform and coached the new users•Compiled and systematized a manual for the functional actions to undertake when migrating a bank on the platform■ Support Management mode•Accountable for the support of the authorization platform

Summary: Software Engineer and Project Manager at the R&D department of the International Banking & Financial Services Division of Sopra Group. Worked on some of the most strategic projects for the division at that time.What I did:■ Project "Visa Fees management" (Clearing module): Lead Engineer• Studied the VISA International Operating Regulations manual• Analyzed and specified, accordingly, the functional requirements• Developed in Java/J2EE the core functionalities of the add-on• Managed a team that developed the batch programs, integrated and tested the add-on■ Project "New Java/J2EE GUI" (Clearing module): Developer• Developed in JAVA/J2EE the new GUI according to the specifications■ Project "New Java/J2EE GUI" (Clearing/Settlement module):• Developed in Cobol (Pacbase) a new functionality to process credit cards (Cedicam, TIM Vert)

Summary: Final year internship at the R&D department of the International Banking Division of Sopra Group, one of the largest software companies in the banking industry in France. The topic of the internship was: "Analysis and study of the international electronic payment networks in order to integrate them in Evolan"What I did:■ Research: Investigated, classified and summarized information (business model, partnerships, how they function, technical and functional requirements) about the electronic payment networks, JCB (Japan Credit Bureau) and Diners Club International.■ Analysis: Examined the existing CMS and the technical requirements for JCB and Diners Club International.■ Specification: Outlined the necessary add-ons, modifications (batch programs, interfaces, screens) of the existing Card Management System Evolan (TIM International) in order to take into account JCB and Diners Club International.
