Over the past two decades, Ivan's work has increasingly focused on advertising and product photography, ranging widely across different industries and continents, due to his bilingual abilities (Spanish, English) but united by a distinctive style that is derived from his attention to detail. His interests lie in the way humans perceive the beauty that lies in every day objects, their shapes and the meaning of their colors. His images aim to promote awe and evoque feelings of passion.He has three major bodies of work, concerning different subjects, automotive, luxury products and architecture. Through the last decade Ivan was awarded more than two dozens international awards from prestigious organizations such as, American Photo/American Illustration who named him one of the Top 20 Photographers from Latin America (2013), Lürzer's Archive named him one of the Top 200 Advertising Photographers in the world in (2013), the Lucie Foundation Awards (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014), a National Geographic Award (2011) and The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC; where he has a permanent exhibition for his personal work with nature.Academically, Ivan got a BFA in Visual Communication, which gives him a unique style with substantial branding and corporate identity experience. Building immersive visual images, for publications and clients like: Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, KIA, Prestige Imports, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Moët & Chandon, VOGUE Brazil, VOGUE Mexico, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Kolestone and Pantene to name a few.
