Ivan Lim, (1987-)Actor. Born in Singapore on July 17th 1987. He holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre from The University of Essex.The first time Ivan fell in love with the stage was at the age of 9 when his grandmother brought him to watch the Opera " 白蛇传" (Madame White Snake). The next day he signed up for the Drama club in school, and carried on being in drama club throughout his secondary school years. After O' Levels despite many objections from his parents he still went ahead and enrolled in the Theatre Diploma Programme in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts ( NAFA ). During his early NAFA days he had a great opportunity to work with China's national first class scriptwriter Yue Mei Qin. In his play "The Returning Lady" Ivan started out as the prop assistant but later scouted by Yue Mei Qin to play as the Delivery guy. His diploma graduation piece "Beautiful Country" directed by Robin Payne brought his skills as an actor to the next level by challenging his versatility with five different roles in that production. Since graduation his lecturer Benjamin Ho has given Ivan multiple opportunities to hone his skills as a puppeteer from Papermonkey's various on - tour performances. Ivan made his first mandarin musical debut in Papermonkey's "花田错" (Romance of Mistakes) with the use of specially handcrafted puppets. In 2018 Ivan was scouted by the two directors of The Influencer Network (TIN) to fill in the position of project manager, Which he handles talents and the curating of projects. He also picked up several skills like photography and the art of floral arrangement which helps kick start his Instagram profile as a content creator,
