I love watching businesses earn money, and I know how to make it happen. Here’s a brief overview of my journey from linguist to project manager and product owner.I began my career in 2011 as a copywriter and content manager. My strong writing skills quickly led me to identify bugs and list them for developers (QA and issue tracking). Soon, company owners asked me to oversee the bug fixes and come up with ideas for increasing site revenue. That naturally extended my role to encompass the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). At the first two companies, I concentrated on my ability to speak the same language as IT professionals (project management), manually testing the admin panel and client-facing parts. At Edelweiss-perevod, I combined Agile and Waterfall methodologies, creating a seamless experience for both the company owner and developers. When I joined Cogito-Centre, I was called "the guy who talks to the programmers.” I had always been skilled at understanding people’s needs and explaining what needed to be done. Later, I learned that this is called stakeholder management. My career at Cogito-Centre was full of challenging tasks. I was keen on project management, but here my role also involved increasing the company’s revenue (plus the role of a product owner). I had to work very hard for the first five years, using almost all my free time to study.I learned Google Analytics, advertising platforms, risk assessment, budget planning, and ROI analysis. I’ve read extensively about UI/UX and even redesigned the site using my own layouts. I cannot list everything I’ve done and learned in this text because it would become too lengthy.I actively reshaped my team, changing members and switching development companies, until I had built a strong and functional team. I am proud of it.The revenue grew more than 15 times, signaling my successful efforts. That’s my story.I had two dreams since I was a teenager: to live abroad and to make impactful projects. By 36, I had created a really good psychological e-shops, and now I live in Thailand. But I don’t see a reason to stop.I’m really passionate about what I do. So I’m looking for a project where I can put my hands and heart into it.I will be happy to connect with recruiters and passionate industry professionals.Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for someone dedicated to driving business growth and leading impactful projects.E-mail: ivanovdotvictor@gmail.com
