Questionmark is a research think thank specialised in sustainability of supermarket food products and managing a large in-house database containing data on food products of all supermarkets active on the Dutch market. As junior researcher I contributed to various research projects of Questionmark (amongst them 'Transparant over Duurzaamheid', their 'productwijzers', and their 'Superlijsten').My tasks included:- Assessing sustainability performance of food producers using internal methodology- Monitoring relevant sustainability certification requirements and legislation- Engage in discussions on methodology development/improvement and the selection of indicators- Literature research- Writing research reports- Using SQL to make basic queries to the database to answer research questions- Using SQL to detect database pollution and ensure data integrity

For this client, I performed a best estimate analysis on the size of the labour force employed in the renewable energy sector in the Metropolitan Region of Amsterdam:- Developing a sound research methodology- Data collection and analysis- Reporting and presenting research findings- Maintaining contact with the client
