Currently serving as a Lead Teacher for Create a Loop, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing rigorous and ambitious computer science instruction to students in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. Roles and responsibilities include:-developing experience with and understanding of course programming and computer science objectives by completing online coursework-providing direct in class coding and technology instruction to middle school students based on Create a Loop curriculum and other provided resources-managing classroom equipment, including iPads and MacBooks-Providing direction and support for volunteers and teaching assistants-developing positive relationships with students and parents-facilitating STEM exploration with Create a Loop partners

Currently teaching 7th grade math and science as a long term building sub at Confluence Academy-Old North.Roles and responsibilities include:-implementing effective lesson plans that align with the 7th-grade math and science curriculum-designing supplemental educational materials for classes including quizzes and homework-utilizing various techniques,methods, and strategies to enhance learning experiences-establishing and maintaining a positive, supportive classroom environment conducive to learning-deepening student’s understanding of math materials through extra instruction during tutoring -collaborating with other educators, including the lead 7th grade teacher, to make informed educational decisions for the 7th grade cohort

-Facilitated "Design It" challenges in the Magic's House Emerson STEAM Center for field trips-Supervised museum guides and volunteers working in STEAM Center-Researched and planned appropriate STEAM related activities for maker space

-Provided innovative education programs that engaged young children and their families in historical narratives-Researched various historical events for crafting ideas-Prepped/lead story times during the Summer Family Fun series programming. Guided tours for special events, including one focusing on black architecture from the museum's "Coloring St. Louis" exhibit

-Researched and digitized sections of collections of Mercantile Library's Art Museum and UMSL's art collection using Past Perfect including the special collection of the St Louis Globe Democrat-Served as registrar in close collaboration with the curator to manage loan procedures including all aspects of incoming and outgoing loans to and from the permanent collection-Engaged in the planning and production of exhibitions including handling, condition reporting, assembly of materials, and installations including on the exhibit “Saunders Schultz: Visionary Abstractions"-Created and designed digital exhibits using portraits from Mercantile’s collection: https://umsldigitalhumanities.org/Ivory_Clark_Exit_Project_2020/
