Finance Director of NJVG Ltd has won the tender run by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council to build a Golf Resort at Hoylake which includes two Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, Clubhouse, Spa, 4 star hotel, 160 executives houses and 40 apartments. I was responsible for preparing the financial section of the tender which includes 10 year financial projections, Trading Cash flow for the Resort and the Cashflow for the Construction of the Resort.

Responsibilities ACCOUNTANCY AND BUSINESS ADVISORY• Preparation and review of detailed financial forecasts based on historical sales spend per head, estimated crowd for retail and expected covers for hospitality business, then preparation or review of the actual results for every match or event occurring at each of the Stadia• Completion of summarised weekly results and forecasts also detailed monthly management accounts on Compass’s financial accounting system SAP, detailing the monthly result for both matchday and non matchday at each Stadia. • Preparation of weekly and monthly variance reports, analysing the reasons for favourable and adverse percentage variances for public and hospitality sales, the cost of sales of food, liquor, payroll and controllable expenditure against budget and revised forecasts. Reconciliation and review of back up information for head office of each of the Balance Sheet categories• Preparation and presentation of the annual budget and other long term forecasts at each stadia following discussion of new initiatives and price changes with unit managers, Operations Directors and key client staff. Updating of the rolling forecast on an on-going basis as matches and events are completed. Preparation of capital expenditure proposals to Compass head office for the funding of new assets• Completion and presentation of financial information packs for the key stakeholders at each stadia being the WRU/MSplc, Cardiff City Stadium Ltd and Swansea Stadium Management Company (SSMC). • Coordinated the mobilisation of the financial departments of the new stadia in Wales and recruited, interviewed, trained and managed the location accountants. Organised the changes to the financial process and controls for the Olympic Games football matches at the Millennium Stadium. Liaised with LOCOG and completed the daily reporting requirements on a timely basis.
